How to get or be part of an Argentine tango demonstration in Minnesota

There are several professional Argentine tango performers living in Minnesota. The Tango Society of Minnesota (TSoM) maintains a list of willing professionals and amateur performers. TSoM does not endorse these dancers and is in no way responsible for them or their abilities, but TSoM can request that the dancers or dance couples reply to an invitation and bring appropriate music or equipment, if necessary, to the gig.
If you wish to have a couple or a group demonstrate Argentine tango at your event, please e-mail tsom@mntango.org. The opportunity will be forwarded to people who have expressed an interest in performing. Obviously, the more details and advance notice you give, the better your chances are of finding what you’re looking for.
If you are an Argentine tango dancer and would like to sign up as a possible performer, please e-mail tsom@mntango.org with a brief description of your Argentine tango experience and your desire to demonstrate the dance. As a rough guide, we recommend that you have at least a year of regular Argentine tango dancing under your belt before you try to perform.
